Thomas "Tom" Mitton, 75 years of age, of Truemanville, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in Salem, N.S. he was a son of the late Thomas & Georgetta (Wheaton) Mitton.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Hazel Russell-Mitton; daughters, Wanda Mitton of Amherst, NS, Eva Urban (George) of Edmonton, AB, Debra Mottus ( Alex) of Barrhead, AB; sons, Ralph Mitton (Mary) of Edmonton, AB, Doug Mitton (Natalie) of Amherst,N.S.; grandchildren, Robyn, Amanda , Cassandra, Rhiannon, Thaila, Evan;
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, N.S. No visitation or funeral service by request of the family.
