The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital,
O'Leary, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, of Douglas "Scott" MacMillan of Cascumpec, aged 43 years. Born in London, Ont., on August 28, 1970, son of Leigh and Martina (Bakker) MacMillan. Loving brother to Jeff (Wendy) MacMillan and Ian (Pam) MacMillan. Scott is also survived by his nephew Jadrian Elijah-Odgen and Uncles: Erskine (Goldy) MacMillan, Leslie (Chris) MacMillan, Pete (Betsy) Bakker, Jim (Rilla) Bakker, John (Veronica) Bakker, Walter Veenstra; and aunts: Isabell (Lee) Sutherland, Elizabeth MacMillan, Lein Bakker and Corrie Koetsier. Predeceased by his brother, Gregory Wayne MacMillan. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary. No public visitation by personal request. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 17, at Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the Church cemetery. In memory of Scott, memorials to Elmsdale Nazarene Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
