Lillian was born December 4, 1926 and passed away on January 19, 2014. As a young woman Lil was very athletic, enjoying such sports as swimming and tennis. She was a Saskatchewan Roughrider fan and never missed a televised game if possible. Lil loved animals and babysat pets whenever asked. She even took to feeding every stray animal in the neighborhood, and was a supporter of the Moose Jaw Humane Society. Lil was predeceased by her mother Rose, brother Wes, husband Bert, nephew Roland, as well as Bert's brother. Lil is survived by nieces Lea (Leon), Linda, Brenda and Cathy (Greg), nephew Dan (Kathy), great-nieces Theresa, Lanessa, Lindsay, Maureen, Doreen, Sue, Sandra, great-nephews Lincoln, Aric and Paul, as well as 5 great-great-nieces and 3 great-great-nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Parkview Funeral Chapel, with a private family interment to follow. A special thank-you goes out to all of the staff at Moose Jaw Extendicare for their exceptional care.
