It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Daniel Ollerhead of St. Anthony, NL. Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 20, 2014 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, Mr. Daniel Ollerhead in his 81st year. He leaves to mourn with cherished memories his loving wife Margaret of 58 years; four beautiful children Gus (Kyla), Grace (Bill), Beverly (John), and Danny (Deanne); five grandchildren Rachel (Steven), Michael, Peter, William, and Alex; three great-grandchildren Morganne, Nathan, and Breanna; as well as extended family and many close friends. He is predeceased by his mother Rachel and father Augustus. Visitation took place at the funeral home in St. Anthony. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Anglican Church on Friday, Jan. 24, with Rev. Fr. Paul C. Findlay officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
