Louis Barsness of Webb passed away peacefully at Saskatoon University Hospital on January 27, 2014. Louis was born on the family homestead north of Antelope, SK on July 27, 1921. He married June Wannamaker on January 14, 1943 at Webb, SK. He had three children Raymond Herald, Sharon Louise and Martin Louis. The majority of their lives were spent on their farm located Northeast of Antelope. His passions were his cattle, horses, rootbeer, Johnny Cash, having coffee time and visiting with his neighbors, friends and most importantly wife and family. Life was simple yet so rich with the endless love support and understanding from a man who knew no other way. He will be sadly missed by all his family, relatives, friends and neighbors. We can take comfort in remembering his warm smile, comical humor and kind generous soul. He was predeceased by his mother, Hilda; father, Martin; sister, Myrtle Broten; brothers, Melford, Art, and Harry and extended family brothers, Lorne, Willie and Otar Roosen. He is survived by his wife, June; brother Walter; sons, Raymond (Gerry) and family, Martin (Bonnie) and family and daughter Sharon Janke and family. There will be no service.
