Vivian "Leigh" Clements

CLEMENTS, VIVIAN "LEIGH" - 1942 - 2014 - It is with deep sadness and pain that I announce that angels took Leigh on Friday January 31st. I was very lucky to have her as my wife for almost fifty-one years. She was the love of my life and best friend. Leigh provided the unshakeable foundation of our grand partnership. Two sons, Scott and Michael, have been greatly loved and the source of much pride. Four grandchildren; Mike’s girls Steely and Sloan and Scott’s boys Sébastien and Sacha, have been Leigh’s most recent great loves. Their mothers Rayn and Isabelle were very close to Leigh. Leigh’s mom and dad, Bill and Bernice Campbell, gave her two sisters, Kathy and Norma, and three brothers, Barry, Jack, and Peter. Leigh was close to all her siblings but had a special bond with her sister Kathy. Nieces, Jennifer and Shelley, will miss their aunt Leigh greatly, as will her other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Leigh was a wonderful friend, kind and helpful to many, many people in the various communities in New Brunswick, Ontario and Florida where she lived. Leigh was born in 1942 and raised on the Miramichi, she was a sports participant in school, a CGIT leader, and a choir participant at various United churches. Leigh’s working career included roles as an executive secretary for Kimberly Clark, and later she served as a hospital payroll administrator. However, Leigh’s most favorite and important role was that of homemaker.
The family invites all to a service to remember Leigh on Sunday afternoon July 13th at St. Paul’s United Church in Riverview. Leigh succumbed very quickly to an exceptionally aggressive form of brain cancer. Anyone wishing to make a donation in remembrance of Leigh is encouraged to contact either hospital in Moncton, the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children 555 University Ave. Toronto, ON. M3G 1X8 (1-800-661-1083) www.sickkidsfoundation.com/donate; or the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis (1-800-805-5856) www.Stjude.org. Arrangements have been entrusted to Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB (506) 857-9544 Online condolences can be made at www.tuttlefuneralhome.ca
