DEVEAU, FRANÇOIS - (1922 - 2014) - Rogersville - At the Foyer Assomption de Rogersville, on Monday, February 3rd, 2014, at the age of 91 years and 6 months, passed away François "France" Deveau, husband of the late Agnes Doiron (1993). Born on June, 30th, 1922, he was the biologic son of the late Fabien Deveau and of the late Agnes Pineau and the adoptive son of Simon and Sophie Pineau. He will be sadly missed by his five daughter: Sylvie (Jean-Louis Doiron), Cécile (Armand Gagnon), Adrienne (Jacques Thibault), Marielle (Norman Kelly) and Carmelle (Gaston Richard); four sons: Oneil (Bertha), Paul-Emile (Marielle Lavoie), Fernand (Kristine) and Arnel (Georgette); 25 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Stella Deveau (late Célime), Sylvia Doiron (late Napoléon) and Rose Devoe (late Emile) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Robert (2013); one daughter, Denise (1992), one baby boy, Normand (1957), one great-grandaughter Stéphanie Deveau; his brothers and sisters: Martial, Narcisse, Célime, Alcime, Emile, Julienne and Marine. France was a veteran of the second world war.
The family is now receiving relatives and friends at the Salon ‘La Colombe’ 11325 rte 126, Rogersville. The funeral service will be held at the Saint-Francois-de-Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville Thursday, February 6th, at 3pm. Visiting hours, Thursday from 1pm until departure for the funeral service.
