GRANT, WALTER HERMAN - Walter H. Grant, formerly of Canterbury, NB passed away February 5, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Walter was born at Canterbury, NB in 1929, a son of the late Stanley and Violet Grant. For more than twenty years he had lived at Gere’s Special Care Home in Prince William, NB. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Marita Grant, Canterbury, NB and brothers-in-law, Dennis Graham and John Evans, both of Ontario and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters Nancy Graham, Edith Evans and Mildred Grieve and brothers Ralph, William, Paul and Elery Grant.
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Canterbury Cemetery in May. www.flewellingswan.com
