It is with great sadness that the families announce the passing of Mary Blanchard (Nee Tapp) on Monday, February 10th, 2014, at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 58 years, she will be sadly missed by her special friend Phonse, her daughter Colleen (Calvin White), two precious grandsons whom she dearly loved Cody, & Nathan of Pasadena, NL, 7 siblings; Lorraine (Dennis Turpin) of Deer Lake, NL, Llewellyn, of Ontario, Jim (Debbie) of Summerside, NL, Dave (Yvonne) of Pasadena, NL, Johnny of Ontario, Helen (Sissy) Randy) of Pasadena, NL, Margie of Deer Lake, NL. She was predeceased by her mother Lillian in 1984, her father Ernest 1998, nephews; Stephen 1981, Zachary 2004, and her niece Michelle 1988. She also leaves to mourn a numerous nieces, nephews, cousin, extended family and friends. her caregiver Lorna, Juanita, & Susan & a special thanks to Sean. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. David's Anglican Church in Pasadena, NL, on Wednesday, February 12th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral sevice will take place from on Thursday, February 13th, 2014, at 2 pm, with Rt. Rev. Leonard Whitten, officating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Pasadena, NL.
