Mary "Diana" Gerrior

GERRIOR, MARY “DIANA” HENRIETTA - Mrs. Diana Gerrior passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Carlton Kirk Nursing Home. Wife of the late Temple Joseph Gerrior. She was a daughter of the late Edmund LeBlanc and Elizabeth Williams. Diana lived her whole life in Randolph, a community in which she was very proud. She was strong in her faith and devoted to her family. Her family values and sharp sense of humor will never be forgotten. Diana enjoyed playing Bingo and she will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and all her friends Diana is survived by her sons, James (Marie), Richard, Stephen, all of Saint John and Jerry (Tammy) of Vancouver, BC; her daughters “Betty” Jensen (Larry) of Logan Lake, BC, Anne Pape (Tony) of Kamloops, BC and Lynn Mortimer (Rick) of Saint John; two brothers Joseph and Adrice LeBlanc both of Saint John; two sisters Claire Bond (Ken) of Edmonton, Alberta and Rita Mattinson of Mississauga, Ontatio; also survived by 25 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Diana was predeceased by her loving husband Temple Joseph Gerrior; three brothers George, Lionel and Art; one sister Peggy and two great-great-grandchildren, Pierce Fortier and Maeve Coyne.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, NB, E2M 2L3. Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 12:00pm at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in the spring. Following the service there will be a reception at the Denis Morris Community Center. Donations made to the Saint John Down’s Syndrome Society or to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com
