(March 5, 1939 - February 12, 2014) Passed away suddenly at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, Philip John O'Brien of Cape Broyle. Predeceased by his beloved parents John and Angela, infant brother Pius and brother-in-law Jim Keough. Leaving to mourn treasured daughter Amanda O'Brien McKelvie, son-in-law Daniel and grandson Micah; devoted sisters Monica Browne (Cas), Anna Keough and Virginia Jones (Don); brother and best friend Andrew (Dot); nieces and nephews Maxine, Noel, Renee, Glenn, Karl, Karen, Gemma, Francine, Cherie, Dion, Angeline, Andrea and Aaron and their families; extended family and friends. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Saturday February 15th and Sunday February 16th from 2pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle on Monday. February 17th at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. The family will hold a private inurnment service at Immaculate Conception R.C. Cemetery, Cape Broyle at a later date. Flowers greatly accepted or donations in Philip's memory may be made to the Vera Perlin Society.
