PHILLIPS, VIRGINIA GAIL - Virginia G. Phillips of Harvey, York County, NB passed away February 13, 2014 at her home. She was born at Magaguadavic, NB in 1944, a daughter of the late Arthur and Jane Elizabeth (Bishop) Thomas. Virginia is survived by her husband, Benjamin Phillips; her children, Danny, Tammy Webb (Miles) and Andrew; her grandsons, Nicholas and Zachary; her sisters, Eileen Parker (Clarence) and Jean Rowan (James); her brothers, Arthur Thomas (Helene) and John Thomas (Lorraine); brothers-in-law, George Phillips (Kathy) and Eric Phillips; a sister-in-law, Marlene Phillips and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son Dale, a sister Evelyn McLean and brothers-in-law, Donald and Guy Phillips.
Although there will be no visitation, friends are welcome to attend the funeral service to be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Route 3, Harvey, NB on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Marlene Phillips officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at the Harvey Settlement Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Virginia, the family has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society.
