ROACH, EVELYN JULIA - Evelyn Roach, faithful servant of Jehovah God, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2014 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket in her 91st year. Daughter of the late Roland Hill Flemming and Flora Mae Flemming (nee Sainsbury) of Port Elgin, N.B. Loving wife of the late Robert James Roach. Cherished mother of eight children, Joyce E. Penzes, Roland (Carolyn), Raymond (Susan), and Catherine (Leslie Richards). Predeceased by Kenneth James Roach, John William Roach, Mary Elizabeth Haley (Roger) and Donald Allan Roach (Betty). Dearly loved by 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her sisters, May Perney of Nanimo, B.C., Eileen Smith of Sackville, N.B., and Roberta Rutledge of Dorchester, N.B.
A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 19235 Leslie Street in Sharon on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in Amherst, N.S. at a later date. If desired memorial donations to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society would be appreciated.
