YOUNG, Edward Lawson – 78, of Freeport, Digby Co., passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at his home in Freeport. He was a son of the late Bernard and Monique Young of Tiverton. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna (Outhouse) Young. He is survived by daughters, Dianne (Wayne), Freeport; Cheri (Sonny), Freeport; sister, Anne Crocker, Smith’s Cove; brothers, Llewellyn (Ruth), New Brunswick; Ralph (Lynn), Ontario; several nieces and nephews. He was a fisherman for most of his life (45 years). He loved going for walks and talking to people on his way. He also loved camping at Belle Baie Park for 19 years. A memorial service will be held at a later date for Edward and Anna. Donations in his memory may be made to the Freeport Brookside Cemetery Fund or to Saint Mary’s Parish (Church Point).
