VIENNEAU, BARBARA - 1951 - 2014 - Barbara Vienneau, 63, of Dieppe, NB, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, February 19th, 2014, at her residence, following a courageous battle with brain cancer (GBM). Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Helena (née: Doucet) Bent. Barbara had a passion for flowers and skydiving. She taught rock climbing for the Dieppe Boys and Girls Club, was a former member of the Moncton City Police Force Rappelling Team and was a trainer at the Moncton Hospital gym. She was a member of Saint-Anselme parish. Barbara will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother to her husband, Rhéal; two daughters: Rachel (Serge) LeBlanc of Dieppe and Catherine (Rémi) LeClair of Moncton; and one son, Pierre (Isabelle Daigle) of Montreal. She is also survived by four brothers: Joe (Sandra) Bent of Belleisle, Pat (Patricia) Bent of Saint John, Peter (Beth) Bent of Yellowknife, NWT and Steve (Cathy) Bent of Saint John; four cherished grandchildren: Patrick, Mathieu, Josée and Emma; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, February 24th, 2014 at 11 am. Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
