DULONG, R. Eva – age 76, Yarmouth, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born March 16, 1937 in Hubbard’s Point, Yarmouth Co., she was a daughter of the late Elien and Lillian (Melanson) Muise. Eva was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Given that her husband was in the military, she travelled and lived in Germany, Manitoba and New Brunswick. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Albert) Hall, Beaver River, and a son, Randy Dulong, Moncton, as well as by a grandson, Jeffery Hall (Tanya Bangay), Sandford. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Josephine Moulaison, Hubbard’s Point; Clarence (Georgina) Muise, Dartmouth; Lester (Barbara) Muise, Tusket; Roy (Simone) Muise, Yarmouth; Shirley (Bill) Boudreau, Hubbard’s Point; Danny (Janice) Muise, Abram’s River; Nora (David) Boudreau and Gary (Bev) Muise, both of Hubbard’s Point. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband, Damien Dulong, as well as by a brother-in-law, Kelley Moulaison. Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014, immediately followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Pastor Larry Pennell officiating. Interment will follow in the Tusket Cemetery. It has been requested that there be family flowers only.
