Dorothy A. Clarke peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, and formerly of Summerside, in her 101st year.
Born in Montague, she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Jessie (Mill) Parkman. Beloved wife of the late George T. Clarke. Survived by her daughter, Nancy Cairns, Stanley Bridge; daughter-in-law, Betty Clarke, Riverview, N.B.; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael (Anne), Julia (Dennis Brown), Christina (Brian Walker), Heather and Dianna (Maurice St-Pierre); and by eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, G. Kent Clarke; son-in-law, Harold B. Cairns; and by her sister, Adele (William) Horton.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. only.
