BULL; James (Jim) Alfred: It is with deep sadness that Jim's family
announce his passing on January 16th, 2014 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, after a brief but hard fought battle with cancer. Jim was born on October 15th, 1956 in Prince Albert, SK to James (Jim) & Theresa Bull. He received all his schooling there, and after graduating from Riverside Collegiate he met the love of his life, Debbie (Hinz). They were married in 1979. Together, they raised their 4 sons James (Jaja), Ryan (Charise), Stephen (Diane) and Graeme (Chelsea), and welcome into their lives 7 wonderful grandchildren: Tj, Lane, Christopher, Mackenzie, Brody, Lucas and Alyssa. A growing family that will miss him greatly. Also left behind to mourn his loss, is his mother, Theresa (Nakonczny). Jim worked for Canadian Pacific Railway for 29 years, and it was the railway that moved them from Prince Albert, SK to Hardisty, AB in 1988 where they spent 6 years, and then in 1994 to Swift Current, SK where Jim ended his career with CP Rail in 2000, taking early retirement. He then went on to work for the AG & EX, and then was hired on at the Swift Current Liquor Store, where he worked up until his passing. Jim was an avid Rider fan and loved the Toronto Maple Leafs. He coached minor hockey in Prince Albert, Hardisty and in Swift Current for over 20 years, sharing his love for the sport. He was predeased by his infant sister, Debra (1958); father in law, Denis Hinz (1999); mother in law, Solveig (Kay) Hinz (2002); and his father, James Bull in (2010). The Memorial Service was held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall with Reverend Jonathan Hoskin officiating. The eulogy was read by Bob Harris. The inurnment service was held at Mount Pleasant Burial Park Columbarium in Swift Current, SK. Memorial Donations to Kids Sport Box 1944 Swift Current, Saskatchewan S9H 4M7.
