Allen "Allie" Coy

COY, ALLEN "ALLIE" - The death of Allen "Allie" Franklin Coy occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on March 1st, 2014. He was born on June 15th, 1947 in Coytown, NB to the late Alonzo and Edith Coy. Allie was a former member of the River Road Lions Club and an officer for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans for 29 years. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy (David) and Sandra (John); five grandchildren, Timothy, Crystal (Al), Katelyn, Angela, and Courtney; six great-grandchildren, Aunica, Arla, Allegra, Sophie, Liam, and Wyatt; two brothers, Wendell (Janet) and Donald (Joan); several nieces, nephews, special friends, and also his loving companion, Buddy the dog. Along with his parents, Allie was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia ”Rosie”; and his grandchild, John Robert, son of Sandra and John.
Visitation for Allie will be at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Aubrey Trail officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Chase Family Cemetery in Upper Gagetown. The Coy family would like to invite Allies friends to a reception after the service at the Upper Gagetown Lions Hall, Upper Gagetown, NB.
