RICE, Ida Jean - 95, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Thursday, February 27, 2014. Born in Belmont, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Lemuel and Amy (Birch) Winchester. Ida enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing the organ as well as cooking and baking for her family. She loved family time at the cabin. She was a lifelong member of the Liverpool United Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Shirley Croft of Liverpool; Grandchildren Garnett Wilson, Reginald Wilson, Raymond Wilson, Jordan Croft; Great-grandchildren Felicity, Blair, Christian, Leanne, Christopher, Tara, Christopher and Brooke; Great-great-grandchildren Kale, Jersey, Jayna, Dawson, Rhianna, Teyanna, Tori, and Tayo and her sister Lena Crossman of Summerside, PEI. She was predeceased by her first husband Reginald Giffin, her second husband Ronald Rice and her brothers Stanley, Roosevelt, Melvin and Edward. Funeral service was Sunday, March 2nd, 2014, in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Steven Hopper officiated. Burial was in Seaside Cemetery, Brooklyn.
