BOURQUE, LYDA - 1914 - 2014 - Lyda Bourque, 100, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014. She was married to the late Lucien Bourque (1969). Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Paul and the late Marie-Louise (Bourque) Richard. She will be sadly missed by her two sons; Paul (Paulette) of Bouctouche and Richard (Francine) of Shediac, her two grandchildren Ariane and Jérémie and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her four sisters; Emma, Elise, Sarah and Celia and four brothers; Emerie, Patrick, Alphonse and Maxime.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church Bouctouche on Friday, March 7th, 2014 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Lyda’s memory donations may be made to the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent.
