It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bob King announce his peaceful passing at the Palliative Care unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Mae; daughter Lisa King (Darrell Wheeler); son Bobby (Tanya); granddaughters Emily, Amber, Danika and Dana; grandson Matthew; his mother Mrs. Vera King; sister Ruth (Dave) Wellon; brother Major Bill (Shirley) King; mother-in-law Alma Earle; special sister-in-law Sherry Rees; as well as a very large circle of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Dugald King; sister Sharon; brothers Jim and Clyde and father-in-law Chesley Earle. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Reverend Tanya White officiating. Cremation will follow with and interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
