MRS. DOROTHY PILLAR
June 15, 1938 – March 6, 2014
Dorothy was born and raised in Springhill, Nova Scotia, and resided in Prince Albert from 1971. She is survived by her daughters Edith Kopecki and Erla (Greg) Campbell; her granddaughters Amanda (Dusten) Brodie and their children Blaze, Alexa, William, Paige; Amber Campbell and her son Andrew; her grandson Archie “AJ” Kopecki; her step-daughter-in-law Marg Pillar and her children Missy (Bradyn), Carey (Lana), Lionel (Lienne) and their families; her brother Richard Harrison; her sisters Carol Knox, Barb Tower, Susan, Marjorie, Bertha; her step-mother Mary Harrison. She was predeceased by her daughter Ardra Kopecki; her husband Tom Pillar; her mother Edith Burke; her father Mutt Harrison; her brother Arnold Harrison; her step-son Lionel Pillar. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 from River Park Memorial Chapel with Father Roque Concepcion officiating. Interment will take place in the Garden of Gethsemane, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11 Street East, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 0Z9.
