HEUER: Earl Walter Heuer age 90 of Swift Current, SK passed away March 3, 2014. The funeral service was held on March 8, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home, with Shirley Wilson officiating. The organist was Glenna Switzer and eulogies were presented by grandchildren Ryan Nygard and Ashton Mallard. The urn bearer was Anthony Heuer and the ushers were Jim Linklater and Frank Lachowitzer. Honorary pallbearers were all his grandchildren and all who shared in his life. Earl is survived by his wife Margaret "Jean" Heuer; a daughter Lorraine (Stacey) Nygard and their children Shaun and Ryan (Mira); a daughter Janice Mallard and her children Ashton (Conner) and Kenzie; a son Doug (Leta) and their children Nicole (Gary), Anthony (Amy) and Rebecca (Travis): brother Edward (Pearl) Heuer; sister & brother-in-law Eva and Nels Linklater; brother-in-law Bill Middlemiss and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Herman Heuer March 1976 & Olga Heuer June 1976; brother-in-law Gerald Middlemiss September 1980 and father & mother-in-law William Middlemiss January 1992 & Margaret Middlemiss October 1988; a sister Clara Campbell March 1993 and brother-in-law Gordon Campbell 1990. Earl attended school at Roderickville School in the Burnham district. He was united in marriage to Margaret "Jean" Middlemiss November 30, 1950. The couple moved to Kimberley, BC, where he was employed by the City from 1951 till 1961, then retured to the family farm in 1961 which he operated until his passing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching baseball and going to auction sales and of course tinkering at the farm was his special past time. Earl always had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren
and his dogs Tish & Brodie. Memorial donations in his memory to the MS Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
