It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dora Vincent announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Ernie (Doreen), Woodrow (Carol), Ron (Dale), Jordy (Janice), Andy (Lisa), and Louis (Susan); daughters: Helen, Nina (Rick), and Donna (Wade); 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters: Una (Tom) and Rosie (Don); brothers: Jordy (Vera) and Ivor; sisters in law: Bessie, Mary, Marion, Kathleen and Violet; brothers in law: Hollis, Rupert, and Will (Marie); special friend Cyril and her other extended family and friends at the North Shore Manor where she resided for the past three years. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Louis; sisters: June and Hazel; brothers: Harvey and Junior; parents Ellen and Herbert Hann. Dora is fondly remembered for her outgoing spirit and her love of music, dancing, darts and socializing. Friends may visit Bethany United Church in Summerside on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Marilyn Avery. Interment will follow from the United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bethany United Building Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
