Nicolas “Nick” Joseph Kettel of Moose Jaw, SK and formerly of Marquis, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 11th, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Nick was predeceased by his wife, Audrey in 2009. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Nick (Heather), Miles (Letty), Janet (Dale) Glaseman, Elaine (Francis) Nyholt, Betty Cannon (Joe Herle) and Mary Ann (Devin) Cherneski; 11 grandchildren and numerous other relatives. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 17th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK. Interment will take place at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Marquis, SK at 3:00 p.m. The Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, March 16th, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. We would like to thank the staff of the Regina General and Moose Jaw Union Hospitals for the professional and compassionate care shown to Dad and our family.
