CUSACK, WILLIAM B. - William B. Cusack passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on November 20, 1926, a son of the late Cedric "Steve" Cusack and Margaret McLaughlin. William worked for the Canadian National Railroad for many years and also had a small lawn care and landscaping business. He was a faithful member of St. Pius X Church. William is survived by his two sons, Billy Joe and Stephen (Florence); daughter, Beverly Shewbridge (James); brother, Donald Cusack (Eileen); sisters, Mary Harrigan (Bruce), Veronica Cusack (Norma); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine (Stolier) Cusack; brothers, Francis, Greg, Dan and Cedric Cusack; sisters, Dorothy Cusack, Margaret Donovan and nephew, Mark Cusack.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, 316 Somerset Street, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 9:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. www.BrenansFH.com
