Irene Marie Nadeau (nee Marcotte)
November 29, 1932 – March 18, 2014

Irene was born in Prud’Homme to Clemence & Philip Marcotte. She grew up with her sister Lorraine & brother Alex. Later, her family moved to Prince Albert where she met her future husband. She married Tony Nadeau in 1955. Together they had two children, a son Denis & a daughter Louise. Over the years she worked at several different places & developed many friendships. Irene had many loves in her life, her garden, her pets, the Prince Albert Raiders & most importantly her family & friends. Irene was predeceased by her husband Tony in 2001; her brother-in-law Rene in 2004; her brother Alex in 2010; her daughter-in-law D.D. in 2011 & her son Denis in 2012. Irene is survived by her daughter Louise (Kelly) & her children: Melissa (Kyle), Courtney, Jared & Kelly’s son Connor; Denis’ children Brandon & Corrissa (Josh) & their mother Marlene & Irene’s great grandsons Linque & Dracius & their mother Brittnee. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine; sister-in-law Doreen; numerous nieces & nephews; her long time friend Fay & lastly her cats Princess & Ginger. Irene supported the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of her husband & son. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made in her name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Roque Concepcion. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
