It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Winifred 'Beth' Dedieu on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Calgary Alta., she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Kay (Collard) Leonard.
Beth enjoyed baking and was well known to all for her delicious treats. Beth also enjoyed spending time with her family and also her favourite pass time bingo.
Beth is survived by her children, Wendy Jensen, Gordon, Tom (Shauna), Michelle (John), Glenn (Rose Nina), Chantelle (Dr. Steve) Patten and A.J (Allison); sisters, Sylvia, Beverly and Faye; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Andre and her loving son Leonard.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 21, 2014, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in Curry's Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Church with Fr. Norman McPhee officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date in St. John's Cemetery.
