It is with great sadness that the family of the late Semone Humber of Shoal Cove announce her passing on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital in Labrador City at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Ivan (Hazel); daughter Constantina (Myles); special great-nephew Randy (Lisa), Kyle and Eva; granddaughter Ciara; grandson Robbie (Laura); great-grandsons Parker and Easton; brother Cosmo (Rowena); sisters-in-law Lillian and Angelina, and a circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas, parents Onesiphore and Margaret, brother Lawrence, grandson Quinn, sisters-in-law Christianna (Henry), Maryann (Thomas), Ida (Absalom); brothers-in-law Aaron (Leah), Joseph, James and Arthur. Visitation took place at St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church in Reef’s Harbour on Friday evening from where funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15 followed by interment at French Cove Cemetery with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
