MACKENZIE, DAVID GEORGE - The passing of David George MacKenzie of Maugerville, NB occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional on Thursday, March 20, 2014. He was 61. Born in Campbellton NB, he was a son of the late Bob and Isobel (Allingham) MacKenzie. Baptist by faith and a member of the Masonic Lodge & Royal Canadian Legion, he worked as a Locomotive Engineer. Survived by his wife Rhonda MacKenzie (MacFarlane), two sons; Ian & Cory MacKenzie, one sister Cheryl Chapple, one brother Alan MacKenzie (Sharman Seely), a Granddaughter Abigail, nephews Larry Chapple & Keith Chapple (Sonya Duplisea), nieces Tania, Karen & Laura MacKenzie, Donna & Donny Clark, Great-nieces & nephews; Kelsey, Katie, MacKenzie, Madison, Vincent, Talia, Storm and Isobel, brother-in-law David (Martha) MacFarlane, children Gary (Lise) Scott (France) Bruce (Helene), brother in law Robert (Bobby) & Rinette, children Randy, Cindy (Vincent), Jamie, sister in law Lynn (Roger) Jenkins, children Edward, Carol (Paul). Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Beverly Clark & a brother in law Larry Chapple.
Resting at Bishops Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, where visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 12 noon until service time at 2 PM from the funeral home chapel.
