LOUNSBURY, EURILLA - Eurilla Elizabeth (nee Smith) Lounsbury, 78, of Petitcodiac, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on March 21, 2014. Born on July 9, 1935, Eurilla was a daughter of the late George and Merle (nee Keirstead) Smith. She was a member of the Hillgrove Baptist Church, and a past member of the Eastern Star. Eurilla is survived by her sisters: Phyllis Horn (Dirk) of Moncton, Mildred Richards (John) of Glenvale, Kaye Gourley of Moncton, Mabel Leaman of Moncton, Myrna White of Salisbury, Dora May Lainey Robichaud (Leonce) of Shediac, and Mary Collette of Notre Dame; her brother George Smith; her nieces and nephews: Nancy (Trent), Debra (Tom), Jacqueline (Christopher), Kristine (Dwight), Arlene, Cheryl, Tracey, Stephanie, Corrine, Janna, Darla, Gregory, Stephen, Richard (Deborah), Kenneth, Robert (Betty), Christopher, Andrew (Kim), Patrick, Michael, Douglas (Rhonda), James (Patricia), Jason (Patricia), Heather (Alvin), Kimberly, and David; several great-nieces and great-nephews, especially Rylan, Braden, Alicia, and Jodi. Besides her parents, Eurilla was predeceased by her husbands: Robert Taylor and Ernest Lounsbury; her sisters: Shirley Geldart and Florence Carll; her infant brothers: Leslie Smith and Kenneth Smith; and her nephew Michael Richards.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, from where visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm; the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Hillgrove Baptist Church with Pastor Derek Geldart presiding. Interment will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
