Hamilton, Jessie Eileen (Stubbings) – Truro
Mom was born September 4, 1926 in London, England to Cecil and Kathleen Stubbings along with her twin sister, Kathleen (deceased) and brother, John, 1931 still residing in England. In 1943 while waiting for a bus home a Canadian Soldier stationed there, jumped out his bottom floor apartment window for a chance to meet. They were married that year. After the war, Mom and their first son boarded a boat to join Dad, Percy (Pike) Hamilton in Canada. From 1944 - 1958, they had 7 children; Gary (Sandy), Ontario, Laurie, who passed in her arms at the age of 5 in Toronto’s Sick Children, Janet (Brian), BC, Karla passed at birth, Marvin (Debbie), BC, Colin (Gail), Truro, Kathy and Terry, BC. Mom was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, the latest, Tristen Jessie being born March 20, 2014 just before you left to join Dad, Laurie and Karla.
