It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Maggie Costello, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, on Sunday, March 23, 2014.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Greta (Fidgen) McCabe.
Maggie found great joy in nature, going for walks, and spending time at the beach, especially her summers in Ingonish with her family. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, and giving her time as a volunteer wherever she was needed.
Besides her parents, Maggie is survived by her daughter, Leah Costello, Edmonton; fiancée, Dana Throwbridge, Ottawa; sisters, Kathy (Jay) Fowler, New Jersey, Mary McCabe (Peter Brown), Edmonton; brother, Sean (Joanne Frost), Bridgetown. She is also survived by her aunt Jerry, Sydney, best friend, Diane (John) and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at a later date.
