WHITE

In Our Hearts
We thought of you with love today. But that is
nothing new. We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too. We think of you in
silence. We often speak your name. Now all we
have is memories. And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake. With which we’ll
never part. God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart..

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William “Bill” Germain White on Thursday, March 20th, 2014 at the age of 44 years. He fought strongly against his illness, but God called him home. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Bill had touched in many ways throughout his short, yet very memorable life. He was predeceased by his grandparents, William and Tia Robb, and Jack and Eunice White. Bill is survived by his loving wife and daughter, Shirla White and Kera White; his furry best friend, Bandit; parents, Barry and Barb White; sisters, Shannan (Vaughn) Taylor and Deb (Zeljko) Stefanovic; brothers, Darrell (Shona) White and Mike (Amy) White; nephews, Kelly Taylor, Michael Stefanovic (Kayla Busch), Matt Stefanovic, Ryan Stefanovic, Dallas White (Rosie Pollreis) and Cody White; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will all miss Bill dearly. Bill’s life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Bill was born on August 17th, 1969 in Saskatoon, SK. He moved to Moose Jaw in 1988 and worked at different jobs for a few years. He owned Minute Delivery for several years, followed by a courier service with the Times Herald. More recently, Bill worked at Rock Creek Tap and Grill and found much joy and satisfaction working with the wonderful staff there. His wife and daughter were his entire life. Bill spent many enjoyable hours with his wife, daughter and family doing the things he loved most: cooking and eating, his bottles of Coke, camping, travelling, and playing board games, dice and computer games. He also spent many hours discussing liturgy with his brother, Mike. One of the most important things in Bill’s life was his relationship with God, his membership in the Knights of Columbus and his participation in the Lay Ministry group which he was to graduate from in June. Bill’s family would truly like to thank the wonderful hospital staff at both the Moose Jaw Union Hospital and the Regina General Hospital. They truly showed great care and compassion. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 29th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK with Father Rick Krofchek as the presiding celebrant. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
