It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis Lelia (Ball) Seaward announces her passing on Monday, March 24th, 2014 at the Long Term Care Unit, Corner Brook, NL in her 90th year. She will be sadly missed by her children: Iris (Rendell) Hoddinott, Eddie (Loretta), Eric (Beverly) and Paul (Rhonda), 14 grandchildren: Lisa (Louis), Lori, Nancy (Paul), Patti (Corey), Terry (Leah), Debbie (Jim), Karla (Roger), Mark, Maegan (Joel), Jennifer (Andrew), Christopher, Ryan and Blake, 11 great-grandchildren: Brandi, Diana, Hannah, Samuel, Tyler, Allison, Mary, Evan, Jimmy, Brandon and Dylan. Brother Lewis (Margie) Ball, sisters: Beryl Earle, Ruby Anderson, Evelyn (Steve Gilley) Edna Manuel, Enid Burridge, sisters-in-law Ruth Ball, Florence (Harry) Hill, Eva Haines, May Surmo. She was predeceased by her husband Harry, her parents Stewart and Dulcie Ball, brothers Raymond (Doris), Lawrence (Mary), Otto (Annie), Hedley and Clarence (Daisy), brothers-in-law Doug, George, Gideon and Roy and a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake on Wednesday March 26th, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 27th, 2014 at 3 pm from St Paul’s United Church with Rev. Myles Vardy officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot on Wight’s Road. The family requests there be no flowers but donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church, 17 Spruce Street, Deer Lake, NL, A8A 2C2 or a charity of ones choice. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, Deer Lake.
