It is with great sadness that the family of the late BERDENA MYLES of Fortune announces her passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons Baxter (Vida) of Belmont, NS, Eric (Gloria) of Fortune, Jack (Vivian) of Fortune, and Bill (Mary) of Windsor, NS; Daughter Mary (Bill) Thornhill of Fortune; 11 Grandchildren Marcia, Cecil, Gail, Julie, Michael, Jackie, Andrea, David, Adam, Dylan, and Roger; 18 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sisters-in-law Violet (Felix) Bond, Jessie Myles, Ethel (David) Boland, and Elsie Hoban; Brother-in-law Snowden Girard; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by Husband George Myles, Parents John & Mary Keeping; Sisters Eleanor Girard, Millie Lake & Rose Walsh and Brother John Keeping.

The Funeral Service took place from Fortune United Church on Tuesday, March 25th, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at The United Church Cemetery in Fortune. In Berdena’s memory donations may be made to Fortune United Church.
