At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Linda Arbing (nee MacGillivray), age 62, of Montague, occurred on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, with her family by her side.
Born in Montague on August 23, 1951, she was a daughter of Elmer MacGillivray and the late Helen Anstie. Besides her father, Elmer, and Elmer’s sister, Mary Anstie, Linda is survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Dianne (Basil) MacLeod, Jack (Jean Squires) MacGillivray, Carole (Ernie) Young, Bobby (Joanne Lete) MacGillivray and Cathy (Frank) Whitty; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., from St. Marys Catholic Church, Montague. Interment to take place in the parish cemetery at a later date.
