ARSENAULT, THÉRÈSE - 83, formerly of Archibald Street in Moncton, passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at the Résidence du Marais in Dieppe. Born in Moncton on October 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late André and Eva (Melanson) LeBlanc. Prior to her retirement, she worked for 35 years at Assumption Life. She was past vice-president Assumption Golden Age Club and past secretary-treasurer of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 in Moncton. She is survived by two sons: Terry (Carmen) of Moncton and Robert (Linda) of Dieppe; four grandchildren: André, Frédéric, Julie and Jason; two great-grandchildren: Jordan and Abby; her former husband, Roger; many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers: Raymond and Donald.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton on Monday March 31, 2014 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Thérèse, a contribution to the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated.
