It is with regret that we announce the sudden passing of Reg Miller, South Foord Street, Stellarton, formerly of White Hill at his home on March 24, 2014.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1928 to the late Casper and Florence (Boehk) Miller.
He was the last surviving member of his family.
Reg is survived by daughters, Patricia (Robert) Matheson, Glengarry; Joanne LaFlamme, Mt. Forest, Ontario; sons, Keith (Heather Getson) Center Rawdon, Hants Co.; James (Donna MacLean) Westville; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law: Theresa Miller, Virginia Miller, Olive Miller and Norma Wood.
Reg was predeceased by wife, Edna Wood in 1989; son-in-law, Dan LaFlamme; sisters, Martha Graham, Mae Sutherland; brothers: Ernest, Roddie, Joseph and Robert, an infant sister and brother, Florence and Francis.
Cremation has taken place. His family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 29 from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville followed by his funeral at 2 o'clock. The burial to take place in the spring at the Auburn Cemetery.
