With heavy hearts we regret to announce the sudden peaceful passing of Barbara, our beloved sister, aunt and friend on Feb. 28, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Alex and Margaret (Brown) MacDougall.
She is survived by sisters, Joyce (Dave) King, Alexis (George) Penny and brother, Donald (Edna) MacDougall, also by half brothers and sisters, Cathy MacMullin, Kim MacKinnon, Joseph MacDougall and Alex MacDougall and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, William 'Buddy' MacDougall and Murdock MacDougall.
A memorial mass will be held in her honour on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church with a lunch to follow in the parish hall.
Barbara was very proud of her Scottish heritage and her Cape Breton roots.
