GLENCROSS, ARNOLD F. - Arnold F. Glencross, 89, of Ste. Anne’s Veterans Hospital, Montreal, PQ, and formerly of Edmundston and Riverview, NB, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, March 28, 2014. Born in Harcourt, he was the son of the late Phillip and Florence (Blakney) Glencross. Arnold was a retired CNR Car Inspector with 38 years’ service and a member of the CN Pensioners Association. He was a former member of the Parklanes, Albert Co. and the Classic Bowling League; former member of the NB Senior Citizens Association; member of the Riverview Armed Forces & Veterans Association and Moncton Legion Branch #6. Arnold was a Veteran of WWII, served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army for two years. Arnold will be sadly missed by his daughter, Wendy Long (John) of Montreal, PQ; son-in-law, Stan Lipinski of Garden City, Mich.; grandchildren, Troy, Steven and Stacey; great grandchildren, Angie, Kayla, Andrew and Edward; sisters, Phyllis McMullin and Marion Cobb; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Lilian (Sandy) (Lewis) Glencross; daughter, Carol Lipinski; sister, Rhoda Jones; brothers, Charles, John and Gerald.
