BARRATT, JAMES (ART) - James Arthur (Art) Barratt, peacefully in his sleep on the evening of March 29th, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, hours from his 85th birthday. A dedicated soldier, an inspiration to his men, a friend to so many, a family man, and a hero to all who loved him. A true Canadian. He is survived by his wife, Noni; his three surviving loving children, Terry, Cathy, Kim and her husband Brian; grandson, Taylor; great-granddaughter, Clara; and a host of grieving friends.
A memorial service for family and friends to honour Art's life will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley officiating.
