POLLEY, BILL - Bill Polley of Rothesay passed away on March 30, 2014 at the age of 83. He was the son of the late Harry and Elsie (Reader) Polley and the husband of the late Jean (Chambers) Polley who passed away in 1994. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Joanna Polley of Rothesay; his daughter of choice Kim MacLeod (Derrick) of Quispamsis; his brother Walter (Greta) of Sussex and his sister; Ethel Murphy of Chatham; his sisters-in-law: Myrtle Chapman, Ivy Carten, Marjorie Braman, Florence MacArthur (Gordon), Alice Parlee (Paul), Frances Harding (Alden), Russell Chambers (Annie), as well as several nieces and nephews. Bill is predeceased by two brothers: Spencer and Charlie Polley, three sisters-in-law: Mary Braman, Lucy Chambers and Freda Parlee, and by three brothers-in-law Harold, Charles and Lemuel. Bill retired from the Saint John Drydock after 36 years.
Arrangements are entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A service celebrating Bill’s life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm, followed by a reception and an opportunity to visit with the family. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery in the spring.
