It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald William Swyers announce his peaceful passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Saturday March 29th 2014 at the age of 73 years. He will be sadly missed by his son Michael Brook Naze in Ontario, his two brothers: Lloyd (Elaine) in Stephenville and Bertram (Sandra) in Smith Falls, Ontario, his two sisters, Canna Macedulski and Molly LeDrew both in New Jersey. He was predeceased by his parents Bert and Annie, his sister Lory March and his two brothers: Michael and Greg. At Gerald’s request, cremation has taken place with interment to take place at a later date. The family will be receiving friends at Russell’s Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation.
