Frank Moore, 61, Lawrencetown passed away peacefully Monday March 31, 2014 in Dartmouth General Hospital, after a 15 month battle with cancer. Born in St. John's , Newfoundland, he was the son of the late David and Dorothy (Mason) Moore. During Frank's struggle over the past several years with Parkinson's he continued to live life to the fullest and after retirement he continued to keep himself busy around his home. Frank was a loving dedicated son and loyal brother. He was an outstanding friend to those who were close to him and was loved by all. Frank is survived by brothers David (Cathy), St. John's, Newfoundland, Ted, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; nieces Bonnie and Tressa, Bedford, Nova Scotia. Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 7-9pm Thursday April 3 with a funeral service 2pm Friday April 4 with a reception to follow all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Society, Maritime Region.
