Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, March 31, 2014, of John MacFarlane of Johnston's River, age 68 years.
Beloved husband of Barb MacFarlane (nee MacDonald) and loving father of Jill, Angus, Martin, Bonnie and Peter (Ashley). John is also survived by his sister, Mary Giddings (Percy) of Kelvin Grove, and brother, John Harold MacFarlane of Charlottetown. He was predeceased by his parents - Lamont and Eva (Warren) MacFarlane.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Thursday, April 3, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 4, at St. Patrick's Church, Fort Augustus at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place later at Mount Ryan Cemetery, Johnston's River.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the P.E.I. Humane Society or QEH Foundation would be appreciated.
