It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vincent LaSaga announce his peaceful passing at his residence in St. George’s on Wednesday April 2nd 2014 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Regina, his five sons: Brian in St. George’s, Steve in St. John’s, Wayne in St. George’s, Kevin (Patricia) in Stephenville, Gilbert (Nina) in Ottawa, his four daughters: Anastatia (Tommy) in Shallop Cove, Sandra (Cecil) in Lourdes, Bernice (Kenny) in Shallop Cove, Doreen (Gerald) in Langley British Columbia. Also leaving to mourn his brother Edward (Zita) in St. Teresa’s, his sisters: Mary “Nellie” in Kippens, Leona in Ontario, fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and a large cirle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his children: Michael, Marie, Lorraine, Laurie, his parents Wilfred and Violet , his brothers: Martin, Steve, Stanley, his sister Whilomena and his grandchildren: Claude and Robert. The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 4th 2014 at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Parish in St. George’s with interment at a later date.
