SILVER, Jane Elizabeth, 47, of Clyde River, Shelburne County, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax after a hard fight with cancer. Born at Weston, Ontario on April 21, 1966, she was the daughter of Margaret Silver, Sydney, N.S. and the late James Silver. She was a graduate of Guelph University in Guelf, Ontario. Besides her mother, she is survived by a brother, Andrew Silver, Lakefield, Ontario; aunts, Vida MacKinnon, Sydney, N.S., Mae Howie, Barrie, Ont., Betty Silver & Mateline Silver, Ontario; uncles, Gary Howie, Sydney, N.S., Warren Howie, B.C., Bill Redfern, Ontario; cousins in Nova Scotia and Ontario; close friend Lisa Nickerson (Larkin), Mary & Eugene Arey; all coworkers at Patural International, Tidal Organics Inc. and Clearwater Lobster. Jane was a lover of animals and leaves her dog, Mattie, cats, Tala and Emmie who will miss her very much. Also Pat who she loved like her own. There will be a celebration of Jane’s life at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington.
