It is with great sadness that the family of the late Minnie Laura Gale announce her passing on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at the Long Term Care Unit in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, children: Mereda (Terrance) Wellman, Beatrice (Bill Ricketts), Ramona (Bert) Banks, Gary (Sandra) Gale, Brian (Minnie) Gale and Clarence (Karen) Gale, Joan Gale, Susan (Collin) Bartlett, Marilyn (Paul) Danpaul, Derrick (Wanda) Gale, Tammy (Matt) Buckle, Paul (Jackie) Rideout, Eric (Vicki) Rideout and Diane (Glen) Osmond, a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters: Beulah (Bill) Ruth and Marie (Ronald) Denny. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roland (Pittman) Gale; children: Carl, Baxter and Albert, Francais and Marie; parents: James and Susannah; siblings: Myrtle (James) Norman, Roy (Rose) Eveleigh, Stanley (Pearl) Eveleigh, Elizabeth (Ralph) Rideout and Leah (William) Regular. Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Pentecostal Church in Hampden, where also the funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ryan Harnum officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot. By request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
